MCC:- Melbourne Cricket Club
The Melbourne Cricket Club or MCC is a club of sports which is based in the Melbourne state of Australia. The sports club was established in 1838 and it is one of the oldest sports clubs in Australia.
The Melbourne Cricket Club is mainly responsible for the management and development of the Melbourne Cricket Ground. A power is given to MCC by the government and appointed MCG Trust and an Act of Parliament. This also gives the guarantees of the occupation of the club of around 20 percent of the stadium for its reserve of the member.
In the year 1859, the members figure out and designed the first set of rules for Australian rules football. In the year 1877, it also organized the first game of Test cricket in history and the match was played between Australia and England. And in 1971, the ground organized the match which is first One Day International cricket match.
