Android is an operating system developed by Google. It is modified version of Linux kernel and other open source software. Today android used in many electronic devices like touchscreen mobile, tablets, android TV, Android Auto for cars, and Android watches, each with a specialized user interface. Android are also used on game, digital cameras other electronics.

The first commercial version, Android 1.0, was released in September 2008. Android is continually developed by Google and the Open Handset Alliance, Android code names are confectionery-themed and have been in alphabetical order since 2009’s Android 1.5 Cupcake, with the most recent major version being Android 8.0 Oreo (API 26), released in December 2017, Android is developed by the “Andy Rubin”, Andy Rubin loves the Desserts (Sweet Items). Therefore all the version of android named with sweet Items.
